Waterjet cutting is ideal for cutting specialty metals, armor plate, honeycomb, plastics, glass, and all types of metals to avoid heat-affected zones, recast layers, work hardening, and thermal stress.
With 5-axis capability and a 240” X 120” work envelope, Mainstream is capable of cutting weld prep bevels, forged components, structural components, tubing, piping and formed components, such as tank heads, eliminating costly secondary operations and providing short turn times in an increasingly demanding market.
