5-Axis Abrasive Waterjet Cutting and Machining
Mainstream Waterjet provides industry leading abrasive waterjet machining with capabilities to cut up to 24” thick and hold tolerances as close as +/-.001”. Waterjet cutting is ideal for cutting specialty metals, armor plate, honeycomb, plastics, glass and all types of metals to avoid heat-affected zones, recast layers, work hardening, and thermal stress. With 5-axis capability and a 240” X 120” work envelope, Mainstream is capable of cutting weld prep bevels, forged components, structural components, tubing, piping and formed components, such as tank heads, eliminating costly secondary operations and providing short turn times in an increasingly demanding market.

Mainstream has the experience to accommodate precision machined components made from specialty metals, such as nickel, titanium, cobalt, aluminum, brass and stainless in low and high volumes with extreme accuracy, ideal for the aerospace, automotive and medical fields.
Our machines use live tooling to produce intricate details on components and utilize 12-foot bar feeders to optimize production.
